No, i'm not talking about purses or shoes here, this is
afterall, a snowmobile blog!! When it comes to snowmobiles there
are hundreds or even thousands of aftermarket parts to make your
ride unique or a sleeper in disguise. These days, the snowmobiles
we ride are as unique as the people riding them, from sled wraps to
aftermarket suspensions or even just a few stickers, it is hard to
find a stock sled anymore. I have done a few mods myself over the
past couple years and some stand out more than the others, for the
most part I perfer function over fashion and in some special cases
they fit both. I purchased a boss seat for my xp last season and I
have to say that was an excellent buy, not only does it look great
it provides lots of extra benifits over the stock seat, the comfort
is incredible and you also have plenty of extra storage for your
tools, glovess and even a lunch for the day. Another great upgrade
I installed were quick clickers for my clutch, this is a cheap,
easy bolt on product that allows the easy adjustment of your RPM's
in varying snow conditions!! There are also some products you
may not consider an accessory such as aftermarket belts. I have
recently upgraded to Carlisle Ultimax drive belts and have nothing
but great things to say about them, not only do they cost nearly
half the price, the performance and life are unmatched by any other
in the industry. I would love to test all the upgrades available
for snowmobiles but we all know that is not going to happen, so
lets hear about YOUR favorite mod and why?
